AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE: FEATURING RUSK SPEED FREAK BLOW-DRYER
I recently had an amazing customer service experience that I thought I would share with you guys. Five or so years ago, my sister gave me a fairly nice blowdryer for Christmas. It was the RUSK Speed Freak Professional 2000 Watt Dryer specifically. I LOVED it! I have used that thing for the past five or so years and it has never failed me. It can blow-dry my hair in under five minutes and it is super lightweight to hold. However . . .
About three months ago, the finish started to go from matte black to a shiny sticky black. It was so sticky that it was picking up lindt and hair from all over the place. The dryer still worked but it was disgusting to hold and it stuck to every surface I sat it on. I had only kept it in a drawer and never used hair spray around it. It was very odd.
I couldn’t bring myself to just throw it away, so knowing it would be a shot in the dark, I emailed the company and told them what had happened. I asked if they knew of any other similar complaints since it was so unique. They emailed me back and asked for pictures of the dryer’s condition and the make and model. I sent them the above pic and the detailed model info. They promptly emailed me back and asked for my address so they could SEND ME A BRAND NEW ONE!
I was amazed. It makes me feel good that they cared so much about their customers that they replaced a $100 five-year-old gift. I am so appreciative and continue to love this sleek matte black bundle of hair-drying joy. I highly recommend the dryer!
